Catamaran Trip
Experience something different…sailing, snorkeling, and picnicking on a Catamaran. This is one of the best outings in Puerto Rico! Enjoy a scenic ride to Villa Marina on the northeastern coast to board the catamaran, Barefoot IV, with room for 42 passengers, for a peaceful ride to the uninhabited island of Icacos. Enjoy the island, look for seashells, sunbathe, swim, and snorkel in the crystalline waters on this island of white, sandy beaches. Enjoy a light snack, prepared and served on board by the crew. The light lunch buffet consists of fresh fruit, a variety of cheeses, coleslaw, cold cuts, and French bread. Drinks provided include beer, soda, mineral water, Piña colada, and rum punch. After a full day’s activities, you will sail back to the marina to begin your return to the hotel. Bring a towel and sunblock and you’ll be ready for a great adventure! Las Cabezas de San Juan
One of the most bio-diverse natural areas in Puerto Rico is the Las Cabezas reserve, covering three promontories that extend into the Atlantic Ocean at Fajardo. Transport yourself into nature's gift of seven different ecological systems while you glide through the mangroves, view the contrast of the dry forest and stroll on the boardwalk trails. You might see manatees, ospreys and sea turtles from the restored 19th Century lighthouse. On the return trip to your hotel we will stop at Luquillo Beach for lunch at the local beach kiosks where you will be able to sample some of our local “fast foods.” For groups we recommend that you reserve at least one month in advance to ensure your space on this tour. All Day Rain Forest Tour and Luquillo Beach
On this tour you can enjoy a drive ending at our famous rain forest, El Yunque. This rain forest has 28,000 acres of thick tropical vegetation making the area an ideal place for picture-taking. The winding roads are decorated with natural wild orchids and bamboo trees. The atmosphere is full of the musical sounds of our native coquí. All of this is combined with a stop at our beautiful beach, Luquillo, to swim in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. We will make a stop at the local kiosks and fruit stands.
